Top Reader Night Grandprize Drawing
NOTE: Top Reader Night is Saturday, April 4 vs. the Anaheim Ducks. In order to qualify, teachers must submit the name of their Top Reader (to date) by March 7!
In addition to the Reader of the Month medals, Reading Is Cool also provides each class with a Top Reader of the Year medal. This medal is to be awarded at each teacher's discretion to the student at the end of the year who they feel is the Top Reader. Like the other medals, this award can be given for most pages, books or minutes read, most improved or greatest effort shown.
Reading Is Cool will also host a Top Readers Night at HP Pavilion at San Jose. During this night, ten lucky students will be selected from a random drawing to enjoy a pizza party in a penthouse suite during a Sharks home game. The students will also meet S.J. Sharkie while they are recognized for their achievement during the game and shown on the Jumbotron (big screen). Every student will go home with some Sharks goodies and memories to last a lifetime!
