Toy Drives Dec. 3 (vs. STL) and 5 (vs. CGY)
Official Donation Bins are at HP Pavilion at San Jose, Sharks Ice at San Jose and Sharks Ice at Fremont all December long!
Throughout the month of December the HP Pavilion at San Jose, Sharks Ice at San Jose and Sharks Ice at Fremont will be official donation locations for the US Marine Corps Reserves Toys For Tots program. Sharks fans can assist by dropping off a new and unwrapped toy any time during business hours (for HP Pavilion at San Jose 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the South Entrance). All donations will be distributed to children in Santa Clara County and the surrounding area. Toys and items for older children (age 13-17) are especially in need.
Additionally the Sharks Foundation will be hosting drives for new and unwrapped toys and monetary donations at their home games on Dec. 3 (vs. St. Louis) and Dec. 5 (vs. Calgary). Fans can donate as they enter the North and South Entrances of HP Pavilion at San Jose prior to the start of the games. All donors will receive a raffle ticket for a drawing to be held that night, with prizes including autographed Sharks items. Raffle winners will be announced on the Video Board during the first intermission and fans must claim their prize at the Sharks Foundation booth (located outside Section 124) before the end of the second intermission.
ABOUT TOYS FOR TOTS
The goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy children that will them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders. We know from the smiles on children's faces and the appreciation from their parents, that the simple gift of a shiny, new toy - something that many take for granted, can make a tremendous difference in the life of a child. Help bring hope to our local children!

Besides the donation of toys, there are numerous ways in which caring Sharks fans can help out this holiday season, including:

Provide free warehouse space to store toys

Provide vehicles to collect toys from collection sites

Sponsor toy and fund-raising events

Provide volunteers to help sort and pack the toys

Provide volunteers to staff toy distribution parties
