The San Jose Sharks joined forces with Blue Coat Systems, Inc. and the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose to deliver San Jose Sharks ""beanie"" knit hats to hospitalized children at the Medical Center. Several San Jose Sharks players, Manny Malhotra, Jed Ortmeyer, Kent Huskins and Jay Leach volunteered to deliver the free knit hats to patients on Monday, March 1. All the players gave each patient a San Jose Sharks ""beanie"" knit hat, signed autographs, and took pictures with them.
