Over a three night span during the first round of the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Sharks "Favorite Things" Baskets were auctioned off at the Sharks Foundation Booth. In total, more than $31,000 was raised in support of breast cancer research.

Player wives and girlfriends identified the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation as the benefactor for the money raised from each basket that they prepared. The baskets were made unique to each of their significant other's personality, featuring items from his favorite hobbies that included books, movies, and games.

In total, 14 baskets were auctioned representing 15 players. All of the money raised directly benefits the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation. Click here for more information on their foundation.
